Hannibal Machine was started in 1990 by Harold Haycraft and one employee with the plan of servicing local businesses. It has now grown to over 12 employees and various machines capable of servicing many Tri-state businesses. We staff 7 full time machinists with a combined experience of over 100 years. In the past two years we have grown to include two full time welders to assist in various fabrication jobs. In 2001 Harold had received a patent for a Reversible High Ground Clearance Steering Axle that we produce for farm spray trucks. Also within the last year we have added two new regular clients, Gardner Denver and Titan Wheel International. We can accommodate a customer of any size, from small lawn mower repair to fabrication and design of a large turnkey machine.
What drives us Our commitment to quality is what drives our company. We live by the three p's of machining: precision, patience and perseverance. We let our customers know that we are available to them 24 hours a day 7 days a week from day one, and in a quick and accurate manner.
People In 1990, as a service disabled veteran of the Veitnam war Harold opened with a passion for machining that started as a hobby. He believes in the hands on approach in running the business. After 40 plus years in the field, he has seen many different job scenarios and uses that experience for repairs or fabrication of a new part. Here at Hannibal Machine we will repair or make new to the customers needs and if anything is needed to extend the life we will make suggestions. In 2004 Harold's son Scott Haycraft became a part of the family business as a manager in helping the day to day operations.
